    Abstract
For many products craft-specialisation and craftworkers were once the principal means of production, but these approaches were largely eclipsed as a result of the Industrial Revolution and subsequent rise of mass-manufacturing. Recently there has been increased interest in the market for craft and artisan produced items, and in this chapter we examine how 3D printing can successfully contribute to new craft-based business ventures.
