Abstract
This presentation offers a case study into the implementation of lecture capture technologies from a UK Russell Group university and reports on the recent research undertaken which explores how students actually integrate video into their learning process. In doing so, this presentation offers some strategies and methodologies which can be deployed when evaluating learning technologies in partnership with learners. The session draws on the unexpected social ways students use recordings, the things they miss and the ways in which Cardiff University is actively seeking to improve students’ digital literacy around the use of capture recordings for learning.
