Abstract

The chemistry of thioxoquinazolines has considerable values and has gained an increased interest in both synthetic and biological fields. Therefore, the methods of syntheses and modification of such ring systems remain the focus of various researchers. Indeed, some of the reactions have been applied successfully for the production of various valuable compounds and has also led to a ring system modifications. The present review discusses the synthetic methods, reactions, and biological activities of such compounds which have been reported recently.
