Abstract

The survey collected data for the year 2022 from those museums in Wales that are accredited or working towards accreditation. The survey findings provide evidence to inform planning, funding and other strategic decisions by the Welsh Government and the museum sector in Wales. The report uses comparative data, particularly data collected from 2019 to consider evidence before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The report sets out the key findings of the current round of the Spotlight on Museums Survey.
