Abstract

With the development of the times and the deterioration of the global environment, electric vehicles (EVs) may become more and more important in the future. In the transportation network (TN), EVs need to charge at electric vehicle charging stations (EVCSs). The EVCSs consume a large amount of electrical energy. In the power distribution network (PDN), EVCSs are considered as loads. Therefore, EVCS is ‘the bridge’ that couples transportation and power system. How can EVCSs optimize thier charging price to maximize the total profit of them? In this article, we will discuss this problem. Firstly, we find the connection among TN, PDN and EVCSs and model them. Then, the problem is solved by iterations. This article proposes the concept of virtual transportation network (VTN). We will plan routes on it.
