Abstract

The integration of distributed generation (DG) has increased significantly, which results in an increase in frequent voltage fluctuations within the active distribution network (ADN). An effective approach to mitigate voltage issues involves the coordination of various control devices. Given the lack of accurate network parameters in practical operation, a data-driven approach can be employed to facilitate flexible control in ADN. In this paper, a data-driven coordinated control strategy for ADN is proposed to suppress voltage fluctuations. First, the network parameters of ADN are identified using a data-driven method. Subsequently, a coordinated control model is formulated to facilitate the collaborative operation of multiple regulation devices. Finally, the efficacy of the proposed data-driven strategy is verified using the modified IEEE 33-node distribution network. The data-driven voltage control method proposed here can significantly improve the voltage profile of ADN.
