Additional Information:	IWA conference addressing questions of how fairly women are treated by the media. Are women given a fair shout by the media in Wales? Is there an agenda which sidelines women to soft political issues? Are there typical roles for women working in the media? In short do women get a bad press? How do our female politicians cope with aggressive interviewing? Can they be better prepared for appearing on radio and television and handling press conferences? Who are their role models? Who are our most successful women media performers and what advice can they give to budding female politicians? To what extent is the centrality of the media to public life a barrier that discourages women from becoming involved? These are some of the questions that will be addressed by this conference.
