Abstract

Nuselovici previously wrote two books (with François Laplantine) approaching 'métissage' (cross-cultural hybridity) within the framework of cultural anthropology. This one had another goal : to present 'métissage' as a possibility for a new being-together relevant to contemporary multicultural societies by studying examples from sociological as well as aesthetical realities (in music and literature).
