Abstract

The workshop presents a ‘physical parameters’ based benchmarking approach to assessing the energy performance of HVAC systems. The findings to date will be supported by monitored energy data from HVAC components in European buildings. Workshop participants can debate the pros and cons of the approach as an assessment procedure for the energy effi ciency of Building Technical Systems as allowed in the recast EPBD.
