Abstract
In order to effectively address social and environmental impacts, organizations must look across their entire supply chains. Sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) is therefore on the agenda for many organizations across the globe, from international institutions such as the United Nations, to governments and commercial organizations, among others. To improve understanding of SSCM, a number of international academics and leading practitioners were surveyed, with the key objective of identifying gaps between research and practice.
