Abstract

This paper reviews the evidence for the original location of a piece of glass bearing the name of Amenhotep II which came into the collection of the Swansea Museum (no.959.3)from the estate of Harold Jones. The paper also examines the chemistry of the piece as an example of early Egyptian glass.
