Abstract
The ‘getstats in Parliament’ events aim to discuss statistical aspects of work that MPs or Lords may come across on topics as varied as health, sport, crime, education, transport or the Budget. This particular event focused on migration. It explored migration statistics, the methods and reliability of migration data, what we know, what other means could be used to improve accuracy, and the relationship between statistics and policymaking.
