Abstract
Presents the views of an expert in the application of the Ogden reduction factors who was instructed as an expert witness, but not called to give evidence, in the Queen's Bench Division case of Billett v Ministry of Defence on the damages to be awarded to a former soldier who suffered a minor non-freezing cold injury to his feet during training exercises leaving them permanently sensitised to cold. Assesses whether the claimant met the criteria for "disability".
