Abstract
From the fairy Morgan to the witch Morgan – The changes this arthurian character went through along eight Centuries and her recent literary rescue This issue of Diálogos magazine discusses the consolidation of Middle Ages studies. So, in this article, we present a literature review of Morgan in the Arthurian legend, from her medieval origins to her literary rescue, eight hundred years after being cited for the first time in literature. We base our considerations on theorists such as Câmara (2016), Carver (2006) and Kopřivová (2007). We concluded that this is a valid study because it dialogues with History and Literature regarding to Morgan’s reflection in the history of Western women, not limited to the Middle Ages, but that it is enlarged in a multidisciplinary way.
