Abstract
The work attempts to explore the contribution Wales made to the Great War through the experience of the men who served inn the Welsh Division. This includes three major battles, Mametz Wood on the Somme 1916, Pilckem Ridge during Third Ypres 1917 and their journey through the last part of the war during the 100 days advance in 1918.
