Abstract

This paper, by the organiser of The Shelley Conference 2017, explains the motivations behind the conference and emphasises the importance of studying Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley together. It also gives a survey of the papers that appear in this special issue.
