Abstract

(To what extent the Chronicle of Amadi, which relates the political crisis in Cyprus in the years 1306-1310, preserves the echoes of the legal literature of the 13th century from East Latin, in particular the works of Jean d'Ibelin and Philip of Novara? Although the account reached us in an Italian translation, it seems obvious that its original author knew the hierosolymitan law administered in the High Court in the middle of the thirteenth century, still applied by the kingdom of Cyprus at the beginning of the fourteenth century.)
