Abstract

Because crowdfunding is such a fast-paced emerging phenomenon, this report aims at representing a snapshot with the role in highlighting the latest trends, and practices. The analysis is drawn from literature review and therefore offers some observations and qualifying predictions to help practitioners navigate through this emerging funding trajectory while the scope is on innovative SME projects. The outcome is a seven step framework of how to configure a crowdfunding campaign while hilghlighting the different choices of crowdfunding platforms and their risks and benefits in Europe.
