Abstract

Dynamic Wireless Charging (DWC) for Electric Vehicles (EVs) offer a high level of convenience and autonomy alongside potential cost savings on battery size and charging infrastructure. To achieve efficient wireless charging, various control strategies have been proposed, while the control for dynamic charging is still under development. This paper presents an efficient dualsided control strategy without the need for communication between the primary and secondary sides. Linear controllers are used to control system parameters voltages and output characteristics. The control methodology is demonstrated with a 4.3kW simulation, achieving 93% steady state efficiency. Finally the control shown steady output control with dynamic application, successfully control system variations.
