Abstract
To date, the primary endpoint of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) clinical trials is typically a focused lesion count, which has shown to be error prone and which may not comprehensively measure the inflammatory burden. Unlike other inflammatory skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, and alopecia areata, HS lesions exhibit substantial morphologic heterogeneity.
