Abstract

CorCenCC (The National Corpus of Contemporary Welsh - Corpws Cenedlaethol Cymraeg Cyfoes - see www.corcencc.org) is a representative corpus of the Welsh language that includes contemporary spoken, written and electronically mediated language. CorCenCC extends to over 11.2-million-words of lemmatized, part-of-speech, and semantically tagged language data, offering a snapshot of the Welsh language across a range of contexts of use. Work on constructing CorCenCC began in 2015 and was completed in 2020.
