Abstract
Purpose (the aim of the study): Older adults, particularly those with multiple long-term health conditions (MLTCs) and other intersectional characteristics, are under-represented in osteoarthritis (OA) clinical trials. This limits the applicability of current evidence to this population. Recent moves towards digitally enabled trials could lead to further exclusion of older adults who are more likely to have lower digital literacy.
