Abstract

The quick advancement of technology has increased electronic waste, becoming an important environmental and health concern. The research probes into the critical interrelationship between Green Computing and E-Waste Management. Different phases of e-waste management, such as disassembly, upgrading, material recovery, and product reuse, are discussed to indicate their contribution towards green computing. Adopting sustainable ways of green computing and e-waste management will conserve resources, reduce pollution, and contribute toward a more sustainable future. The research proposes a multi-layered smart sensory enabled green waste control model to track wastes and eliminate them on time. The model upon implementation records a 31 % mean energy retention rate with a 60.8 minutes mean computational latency. This work highlights the urgent need for collaborative efforts among industries, governments, and consumers to address the growing e-waste crisis and transition towards a greener digital landscape.
