Abstract

BA4-90/150, the fourth receiver in the BICEP Array series, is a dichroic 90/150 GHz instrument targeting the frequency space where sensitivity to the CMB polarization is maximized and is central to achieving σ(r) on the order of 0.001 with SPT delensing. Set for deployment in the 2026–2027 austral summer, it is projected to be the most sensitive receiver in the experiment deployed to date and introduces key innovations requiring tighter control of systematics, including optical and electrical crosstalk. Prototype titanium transition edge sensor wafers aim to reduce noise and inform the final integrated wafer for full receiver commissioning.
