Abstract

In 2026 the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) Graduating European Dentist (GED) taskforce held an international multi-stakeholder event that explored opinions, perceived understanding, and clinical expectations around student progress and graduating student capabilities. This paper reports how the event was planned and conducted—and reports the opinions of the stakeholders relating to the importance of various clinical domains, evaluation/assessment metrics and markers when monitoring student progress and student capabilities.
