Abstract

It has been a hot topic on sustainable development and reduction of global warming among governments and people in the world. Some researches illustrate that many places in the world will suffer from surviving if emission can not be reduced and global warming is unable to be controlled. As a developing country with largest population in the world, approach of ecological development model and related eco-city process is the inevitable course. Based on researches in China and other countries, the author proposes some objectives, contents and implementing policies of eco-city development in China.
