The Systolic and Diastolic blood pressure can be measure by using Korotkoff Sounds. The Korotkoff Sounds are known to be characterized by five phases, where these phases are important to measure both of them. In this paper, a Korotkoff sound from 15 healthy volunteers has been recorded, and the signals are then been analyzed the characteristics of Korotkoff Sounds by using the Instantaneous Frequency (IF). It was found that phase 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 have frequency range between 5 – 32Hz with phase 3 has the highest amplitude. The amplitude then starts to decrease in phase 4 and phase 5.
