Abstract
Emerging Digital Citizenship Regimes: Postpandemic Technopolitical Democracies explores how increasing digitalisation and datafication processes in post-COVID-19 urban environments are rescaling nation-states in Europe resulting in new emerging digital citizenship regimes, trends, aftermaths, emancipations, future research, and policy avenues. The book introduces thought-provoking cutting-edge research by blending datafication and state theory and setting several European city-regional case studies including Tallinn, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Cardiff, Glasgow, Bilbao, and Belfast, among others.
