Abstract
Despite many public commitments, businesses often fall short when it comes to reducing their impact on the environment. The distance between businesspeople and nature, whether emotionally or physically, is likely one factor limiting their efforts to protect nature — and a detriment to advancing a nature-positive economy. The author discusses what business leaders can do to improve their connections with nature, and how such connections can benefit both nature and their organizations.
