Presented at: IPSERA 2022 Conference, Jönköping, Sweden, 10 -13 April 2022. |
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to synthesise key elements of modern slavery in business supply chains by identifying the state of the art in academic literature through a systematic literature review. The systematic literature review consists of a content analysis and a thematic analysis of the relevant articles. It identifies the various actors, contextual factors, preventative efforts, detective efforts and remedial efforts that have previously been researched on modern slavery in supply chains, while noting the many research gaps that exist.
