Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe the main tenets of the formal morphological approach to the study of the modern Persian word-formation system. Based on a set of methodological guidelines, this approach allows for the morphological parsing of words in a formalized form and for their further classification as a morphological meta-corpus.
