Abstract
In this article, I discuss religiosity and intersectionality, as concepts that can help us to understand the impact of the religious identities of Muslims in Britain on their mental health experiences. Religiosity focuses our attention on individual and community practices. Intersectionality reminds us to widen our gaze, to encompass structural and societal determinants of health and wellbeing.
