Abstract

Although collaboration between businesses and NGOs (B2N) is common practice in tackling modern slavery in supply chains, no research to date has focused on this area. The aim of this research is to investigate the nature of B2N collaborations when working with prevention, detection, remedy, and response efforts of modern slavery in supply chains. A qualitative approach was taken through semi-structured interviews with NGO and business representatives working directly with the collaborative efforts with regards to modern slavery in supply chains. The research shed lights on theoretical framing, challenges, and benefits of this collaboration.
