Abstract

Revitalising Higher Education: Insights from Te Puna Aurei LearnFest 2022 delves into the evolving landscape of higher learning in a post-pandemic world. This volume captures insights from the 2022 online symposium, which was co-hosted by the University of Waikato (Aotearoa New Zealand) and Cardiff University (UK). The volume focusses on the revitalisation of education, practice, and discipline-specific teaching as the world moves on from Covid. It addresses key challenges, motivation in learning, the integration of gamification and pedagogy, confronting climate change, and revitalising English medium instruction. Through case studies and reflective discussions, it showcases the dynamic shifts in teaching and learning taking place in contemporary higher education.
