Abstract
This report is the 2024 annual update which considers the economic activity supported in Wales by the cluster of firms and institutions that form part of CSconnected activity funded by the Strength in Places Fund, which is managed by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). An important element of the CSconnected activity is to explore the changing economic contribution of the CS cluster in Wales over time, and particularly the way in which the activities of the firms and institutions supported by the UKRI funding contribute in terms of meeting place-based needs in the Welsh economy. This report estimates the economic activity supported by the CS cluster in 2024 and includes contextual information through which to better understand the economic contribution of the cluster.
