Abstract

Atopic dermatitis (AD) significantly impairs the quality of life in nearly half of U.S. children aged 6–12 years, per the CDLQI, yet 42% of parents underestimate this impact. This nationally representative study highlights the importance of patient-centered tools and interventions targeting both dermatological symptoms and psychosocial factors.
