Abstract

This article is a reappraisal of Thucydides' modern reception in politics, education and performance, using 'Doing' and 'global classics' as theoretical frameworks. It pays attention to connections across academic and creative approaches, and explores forms where the text is purposefully repurposed and recreated to speak to new audiences and political moments.
