Abstract

The award-winning VR experience In Pursuit Of Repetitive Beats has set up its base in the Wales Millennium Centre this month, offering an insight into rave culture and a powerful sense of nostalgia for the analogue era. It’s an homage to the rave culture of the 80s and 90s: you and up to three companions make the journey from the house to a rave, starting with finding out where it is via calls from local telephone boxes, then taking long trips down the motorway before arriving at a warehouse, where the party starts.
