Abstract

When theatre companies lose their portfolio funding, they very often just die. In which context, the work done by Cardiff’s The Other Room to stay afloat has been nothing short of intrepid. Their latest work, An Orange In The Subway, is a site-specific piece exploring homelessness in Cardiff, and while it’s deeply flawed, it represents another commendable effort by the company to bring something new to the city.
