Abstract
This paper examines the challenges of policing people during the COVID-19 pandemic. It draws on data from a study entitled 'Dealing with People as We See Fit: Police Decisions During COVID-19', so as to explore police discretion, culture, and decision-making during the emergency situation of COVID-19. In this way, it unfolds a case study of contemporary challenges for critical criminology.
