Abstract
Bigfooters – especially those known as the apers - are dedicated to the pursuit of Bigfoot as an object of scientific study. As Jamie Lewis and Andrew Bartlett describe, to do this they draw on methods and technologies familiar to science. In a time of declining trust in expert institutions, can citizen-led fieldwork reimagine the relationship between science and society?
