Abstract
In this interview, Cristina Masters and Marysia Zalewski discuss their motivation to found their book series (together with shine choi and Swati Parashar) in feminist International Relations (IR). They emphasize that the primary academic discipline is feminism which is applied to IR, and that this way of understanding the discipline also introduces opportunities to creatively think, write and do research about world politics. Creativity is, in turn, community building so that feminist academia, creativity, and community work together to allow different, innovative and holistic insights to emerge.
