Abstract

The authors analyse public and private partnership (PPP). Through analysing this partnership in other countries, typically the UK, the authors explore the availability of PPP in urban regeneration and conservation in Chinese cities. The proposed mechanism of appropriate public and private partnership may promote multiple benefits in urban development, renegeration and conservation, increase the maximum social benefits and reduce unfairness.
