Abstract

We are surveying the Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds for methanol 6668-MHz masers using the new multibeam receiver on the Parkes Telescope. Here we request follow-up observing time on the ATCA to measure accurate positions for ~250 masers detected at Parkes. We propose to measure the 6668-MHz line and the 8.64-GHz continuum simultaneously to obtain snapshot maps of the masers and any associated radio continuum emission.
