Abstract
Interviews of 13 patients buying ibuprofen, antihistamines and decongestants. Only 3 read the information leaflets, with 4 reading them on previous occasions. Only 1 of 5 taking ibuprofen could name any side effects. All 4 taking antihistamines had read about side effects.
