Abstract
Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) is a well-recognized proinflammatory cytokine, and as such provides an ideal target for anti-inflammatory therapies. Recent developments have shown very exciting results, and in this article, Jan Bondeson, Marc Feldman, and Ravinder N. Maini review the outcome of clinical trials of anti-TNF-alpha therapies in a range of chronic inflammatory diseases.
