Abstract

High-accuracy mapping of the Orion Nebula at the 1.3-mm CO (J = 2-1) line has revealed well-defined oscillatory structure which may indicate gravitational instabilities in the molecular cloud on the scale of light-years. Subject headings: instabilities - Orion Nebula - radio lines
