Abstract
The article discusses innovations in catalytic wastewater treatment systems. Topics explored include the use of palladium-gold nanobeads in studies conducted by the Cardiff Catalysis Institute (CCI) for greywater decontamination, the domestic wastewater recovery which may be expected from this catalytic technology, and the similarity between the catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) process and the standard catalytic converter systems.
