Abstract
Revolisyon toupatou delves into the profound impact of the Haitian Revolution on contemporary art and fashion. This bilingual exhibition (English and Haitian Creole) is inspired by @renderingrevolution, a social media platform exploring Haitian visual culture founded by Jonathan Square (Parsons School of Design) and Siobhan Meï (University of Massachusetts Amherst). Through a blend of fashion, textile art, and site-specific installations, Revolisyon toupatou showcases the genius of creatives of Haitian descent, inviting visitors to explore the enduring legacy of the Haitian Revolution and its powerful expression in art and design.
