Abstract

What if dominant narratives in film history don't hold much water? In the anthology Incomplete: the Feminist Possibilities of the Unfinished Film (2023), media and cultural scholars Alix Beeston and Stefan Solomon make a plea for a feminist perspective on the unfinished film. When a negative focus on failure falls away, a whole range of possibilities opens up. Across Australian and British time zones, Joke D'Heer spoke with them.
